Your first visit
What to expect.
Your first appointment is all about understanding you — your health history, your concerns, and your goals. Here's how it typically goes:
Check in
Arrive a few minutes early to complete your new patient paperwork. You can also download and fill out forms in advance to save time.
Health history & consultation
Dr. Bell will review your health history and talk with you about your symptoms, concerns, and what you're hoping to achieve through care.
Examination
A thorough chiropractic examination including posture analysis, range of motion testing, and orthopedic and neurological assessments as needed.
Report of findings
Dr. Bell will explain what he found and walk you through your treatment options clearly and honestly — no pressure, no hard sells.
First adjustment (if appropriate)
If it's appropriate to begin care that day, your first adjustment will take place. Most patients feel relief after their very first visit.
Plan for about 45–60 minutes for your first appointment. Follow-up visits are typically 15–30 minutes.
What to bring
- A valid photo ID
- Your insurance card (if using insurance)
- Any relevant X-rays or MRI images
- A list of current medications
- Completed new patient forms (if downloaded in advance)
Insurance & payment
We make payment easy.
We accept most major insurance plans and will verify your benefits before your visit so there are no surprises. If you don't have insurance, or your plan doesn't cover chiropractic care, we offer affordable self-pay rates and flexible payment options.
